My Lost Childhood: A Story of My Long Journey Through the Horror As I sit here today, typing away on my laptop, surrounded by the comforts of modern technology, I am reminded of the long and arduous journey that brought me to this point. My childhood was lost to the horrors of war, and I was forced to embark on a journey that would test the limits of human endurance. My story is just one of many among the Lost Boys of Sudan, who were displaced during the second civil war in our homeland. In the late 1980s, the Islamic government in Sudan began to systematically torture and kill members of Southern tribes, burning their villages and enslaving young boys and girls. As a result, an estimated 27000 plus boys from Southern tribes were forced to flee their homes, traveling naked and barefoot, seeking refuge in neighboring Ethiopia. However, a few years later, they were forced to flee yet another civil war, leading to a grueling five-month journey back to Sudan, where we were met with more hardship and suffering.
My t Childhood: A Story of My Long Journey Through the Horror

My t Childhood: A Story of My Long Journey Through the Horror今天如何坐在這裏,在被現代技術設施包圍的筆記本電腦上印刷,讓我想起帶我到這個時刻的漫長而艱難的旅程。
