The Making of Law: The Supreme Court and Labor Legislation in Mexico, 1875-1931 Introduction In the midst of Porfirio Díaz's authoritarian rule (1871-1911) and fifteen years of violent conflict following his departure from power, Mexico experienced significant political and economic upheaval. Despite these challenges, progressive legal thinkers in the country were influenced by French theories of jurisprudence and sought to adapt the liberal view of law, which prioritized individual rights and private property, to address the country's social question. This book argues that the federal judiciary's adjudication of labor disputes and the development of new legal principles played a crucial role in shaping Mexican labor law and the nation's political and social compact. This may seem paradoxical, given Mexico's civil law tradition, weak judiciary, and pervasive corruption. However, this book explains why judicial decisions in labor cases mattered and garnered attention from contemporaries as the nation's system of industrial relations was established.
The Making of Law: The Supreme Court and Labor gislation in Mexico, 1875-1931 Introduction
The Making of Law: The Supreme Corte e Trabalho gislation in Mexico, 1875-1931 Introdução No auge do governo autoritário de Porfirio Díaz (1871-1911) e quinze anos de conflito violento desde que ele se retirou do poder, o México sofreu grandes turbulências políticas e econômicas.
The Making of Law: The Supreme Court and Labor
The Making of Law: The Supreme Court and Labor gislation in Mexico, 1875-1931 Giriş Porfirio Díaz'ın otoriter yönetiminin zirvesinde (1871-1911) ve iktidardan ayrıldıktan sonra on beş yıl süren şiddetli çatışmalarda Meksika önemli siyasi ve ekonomik çalkantılar yaşadı.
The Making of Law: The Supreme Court and Labour gislation in Mexico, 1875-1931 مقدمة في ذروة حكم بورفيريو دياز الاستبدادي (1871-1911) وخمسة عشر عاما من الصراع المرير بعد رحيله عن السلطة، عانت المكسيك من اضطرابات سياسية واقتصادية كبيرة.
