Trade Regionalism in the Asia-Pacific: Developments and Future Challenges In the past two decades, the Asia-Pacific region has witnessed a significant proliferation of free trade agreements (FTAs), with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at the forefront of this trend. The ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) was established in 19992, and since then, ASEAN has forged five ASEAN+1 FTAs and began negotiating the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement, which includes all ten ASEAN member states and six other countries - Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand. In parallel, the US-led Trans-Pacific Economic Partnership (TPP) has gained significant attention as a means to support US foreign policy in the "Pivot to Asia" strategy.

La Zone de libre-échange de l'ASEAN (AFTA) a été créée en 19992 et, depuis, l'ASEAN a formé cinq ALE ASEAN + 1 et a commencé à négocier un Accord de partenariat économique régional global (RCEP) qui comprend les dix États membres de l'ASEAN et six autres pays - Australie, Chine, Inde, Japon, Corée du Sud et Nouvelle-Zélande. A Zona de Livre Comércio da ASEAN (AFTA, na sigla em inglês) foi criada em 19992 e, desde então, a ASEAN formou cinco LCA da ASEAN + 1 e começou a negociar o Acordo de Parceria Econômica Completa Regional (RCEP), que inclui os dez Estados membros da ASEAN e outros seis países - Austrália, China, Índia, Japão, Coreia do Sul e Nova ZelZel. Paralelamente, a Parceria Econômica Transpacífica (TPP, na sigla em inglês) liderada pelos EUA chamou considerável atenção como forma de apoiar a política externa dos EUA no âmbito da Estratégia de Virada para a Ásia.

Regionalizm handlowy w Azji i na Pacyfiku: Rozwój i przyszłe wyzwania W ciągu ostatnich dwóch dekad nastąpiło znaczne rozprzestrzenienie umów o wolnym handlu (FTA) w Azji i na Pacyfiku, z Stowarzyszeniem Narodów Azji Południowo-Wschodniej (ASEAN) na czele tej tendencji Strefa wolnego handlu ASEAN (AFTA) została utworzona w 19992 r., a ASEAN utworzyła pięć umów o wolnym handlu (ASEAN + 1) i rozpoczęła negocjacje w sprawie regionalnej kompleksowej umowy o partnerstwie gospodarczym (RCEP), obejmującej wszystkie dziesięć państw członkowskich ASEAN i sześć innych państw - Australię, Chiny, Indie, Japonia, Korea Południowa i Nowa Zelandia.
