Backroads Pragmatists: Mexico's Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in Modern America In the aftermath of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920), Mexico, like the United States, was a country of profound cultural differences. As the Republic of Mexico developed ambitious social and educational policies to integrate its multitude of ethnic cultures into a national community of democratic citizens, the need and possibility of developing a personal paradigm for perceiving the technological process of modern knowledge became increasingly important. This book, "Backroads Pragmatists: Mexico's Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in Modern America explores the transnational cross-fertilization between these two movements and how it shaped some of the critical intellectual figures in the Mexican American civil rights movement. The book begins by examining how post-revolutionary reformers in Mexico adopted pragmatism from John Dewey and cultural relativism from Franz Boas, which profoundly influenced the development of integration theories. These theories were then applied to America's own problem, with Mexico serving as a model of cultural fusion.
Эта книга, «Backroads Pragmatists: Mexico's Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in Modern America» исследует транснациональное перекрестное оплодотворение между этими двумя движениями и то, как оно сформировало некоторых критических интеллектуальных фигур в американо-мексиканском движении за гражданские права.
Backroads Pragmatists: The Mexican Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in America Modern After the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920), ספר זה, ”Backroads Pragmatists: Mexican's Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in the United States in Modern America”, חוקר את ההפריה הבין-לאומית בין שתי התנועות האלה ואיך הוא עיצב כמה דמויות אינטלקטואליות ביקורתיות בתנועה המקסיקנית-אמריקאית לזכויות האזרח הספר מתחיל בבחינת כיצד רפורמטורים פוסט-מהפכניים במקסיקו אימצו פרגמטיות מג 'ון דיואי ורלטיביזם תרבותי מפרנץ בואס, שהשפיעו עמוקות על התפתחות תאוריות האינטגרציה.
"Backroads Pragmatists: Mexico's Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in Modern America" (Geriye Dönük Pragmatistler: Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde Meksika'nın Eriyen Potası ve vil Hakları) Kitap, bu iki hareket arasındaki ulusötesi çapraz gübrelemeyi ve Meksika-Amerikan sivil haklar hareketindeki bazı eleştirel entelektüel figürleri nasıl şekillendirdiğini araştırıyor Kitap, Meksika'daki devrim sonrası reformcuların John Dewey'den pragmatizmi ve Franz Boas'tan kültürel göreceliği nasıl benimsediğini inceleyerek başlıyor.
Backroads Pragmatists: The Mexican Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in Modern America هذا الكتاب، «Backroads Pragmatists: Mexico's Melting Pot and Civil Rights in the United States Politics and Culture in Modern America»، يستكشف التلاقح عبر الوطني بين هاتين الحركتين وكيف شكل بعض الشخصيات الفكرية النقدية في حركة الحقوق المدنية المكسيكية الأمريكية يبدأ الكتاب بفحص كيفية تبني الإصلاحيين بعد الثورة في المكسيك البراغماتية من جون ديوي والنسبية الثقافية من فرانز بواس، والتي أثرت بعمق في تطوير نظريات التكامل.
