The author argues that the development of science and technology has led to a situation where people have lost touch with their own needs and desires, and have become dependent on technology. He suggests that we need to develop a personal paradigm for understanding the technological process of developing modern knowledge in order to survive in this world and to unite people in a warring state. The book "Хлеб и воля" (Bread and Will) by contemporary scientist and anarchist philosopher, Peter Gelderloo, presents a compelling argument for the need to re-evaluate our relationship with technology and to develop a personal paradigm for understanding the technological process of developing modern knowledge. According to Gelderloo, the rapid evolution of science and technology has led to a disconnect between our own needs and desires and the technologies that are supposed to serve us. This disconnect has resulted in a loss of autonomy and agency, as we have become increasingly reliant on technology to fulfill our basic needs. Gelderloo argues that in order to survive in this technologically advanced world, we must develop a personal paradigm for perceiving the technological process of developing modern knowledge. This paradigm should be based on the principles of self-determination, autonomy, and the recognition of the interconnectedness of all things. By adopting such a paradigm, we can regain control over our lives and create a more equitable and sustainable future. One of the key themes of the book is the idea that technology has become a double-edged sword.
